Great Bowerbird
Great Bowerbird
I set up a remote camera trap to film the intricate behaviour of a Great Bowerbird. This bird had collected an assortment of shells and mud crab claws from the surrounding mangroves.
As the female watched on, he launched into an energetic performance, his vibrant crown emerging as he moved through the display. He then presented his prized trinkets of green glass and fruit, carefully arranged to impress his potential mate.
