This piece was created using a range of watercolour techniques to create texture and detail. The boab nuts were created by adding watercolour pigment in a very wet wash and then sprinkling on salt. Once the salt dried and was brushed off, it left behind a realistic, pitted texture.


Description

Printed with archival inks on 310gsm cotton paper, each print has a soft matte finish and a sturdy, high-quality feel.


Each piece is printed by me in small batches here in Australia, with a focus on keeping things local and true to my original watercolour work.
