Arriving early to the billabong, these birds are keen to get a drink before the heat of the day sets in. Today, in the wet season, the temperature will exceed 40 degrees. This waterhole is drying up, and competition is fierce. The Red-tails make an entrance with their signature waddle, wings a flair as they clumsily make their way along the bank.
