An unbelievable moment led to this painting. While walking along the coast, I noticed a Spanish
Mackerel chasing a school of Flying Fish. The Flying Fish became airborne and proceeded to fly
straight over the land in front of me. I managed to rescue about a dozen of these fish and this then became my reference for my painting.
